Top 10 Draft Classes

  1. Lions (A+)

Lions GM Brad Holmes is on an all-time heater right now. Detroit’s biggest need going into the draft was cornerback, and with their first two picks they quickly turned that weakness to a strength. Ennis Rakestraw was someone I had mocked to the Lions early in the draft process because I thought he was the exact type of player Brad Holmes would love, and he would fit perfectly in Aaron Glenn’s offense. Rakestraw falling to them in the second round is huge. Not to mention they got my top CB prospect in the first round, Terrion Arnold.

2. Colts (A+)

For a team like the Colts who were in need of high-end talent on defense, but also want to add weapons for Anthony Richardson, I can’t think of a better way to start the draft. They got the best edge rusher in the draft at pick 15 in Laiatu Latu, and then perhaps the steal of the draft with Texas WR Adonai Mitchell falling to them in the second round.

3. Steelers (A+)

The Steelers knocked this draft out of the park by drafting 2 (maybe 3) potential starters on their offensive line, starting with their first two picks Troy Fautanu from Washington and Zach Frazier from West Virginia. They also added a reliable pass catcher in Roman Wilson.

4. Cardinals (A)

Arizona had a shit ton of picks, so they had a lot of room for error, but ultimately I think they came away with a lot of good players. They got the best WR (Marvin Harrison Jr.) and the best RB (Trey Benson) in the draft to bolster this offense for Kyler Murray. I also really like the picks of Darius Robinson (DL), Max Melton (CB), and Dadrion Taylor-Demerson (S).

5. Bucs (A)

Bucs GM Jason Licht comes away from this draft with another crop of good players. They addressed probably their biggest needs with their first two picks, drafting Duke IOL  Graham Barton in the first round, and Bama edge Chris Braswell in the second. Then, got two offensive weapons I loved in the third and fourth - Washington WR Jalen McMillan, and Oregon RB Bucky Irving.

6. Bears (A)

7. Chargers (A-)

8. Packers (A-)

9. Eagles (B+)

10. Chiefs (B+)
